Surface Treatments Milling can Be Applied to:
1. Anodizing
Function: Improve corrosion resistance, wear resistance, insulation, and can be dyed.
Applicable materials: Aluminum and aluminum alloys (such as 6061, 7075).
Typical applications: Consumer electronics casings (such as mobile phones, laptops), aerospace brackets, industrial equipment panels.
Advantages: Low cost, diverse colors (black/silver/gold, etc.), environmentally friendly and non-toxic.
Limitations: Only applicable to aluminum materials, increasing thickness may affect dimensional accuracy.
2. Sandblasting
Function: Clean surface, homogenize roughness, matte texture.
Applicable materials: metal (aluminum/steel/titanium), plastic, glass.
Typical applications: Medical device handles, automotive interior parts, high-end tool anti slip surfaces.
Advantages: Fast processing and improved coating adhesion.
Limitations: Not applicable to ultra precision parts (may mask details).
3. Electroplating
Types: Nickel plating, chrome plating, zinc plating, gold plating, etc.
Function: Rust proof, wear-resistant, conductive, decorative luster.
Applicable materials: steel, copper, aluminum alloy (requiring pre plating treatment).

Advantages: High gloss, strong corrosion resistance.
Limitations: Environmental restrictions (cyanide containing wastewater), coating may peel off.
4. Powder Coating
Function: Insulation, weather resistance, scratch resistance, colorful appearance.
Applicable materials: metal (steel/aluminum), some high temperature resistant plastics.
Typical applications: outdoor cabinets, home appliance casings, electric vehicle frames.
Advantages: No VOC emissions, uniform and thick coating (50-150 μ m).
Limitations: High temperature curing may cause deformation of thin-walled parts.
5. Electroless Nickel Plating
Function: Uniform coating, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic.
Applicable materials: steel, copper, aluminum alloy, titanium alloy.

Advantages: No current required, fully covered in complex shapes, high hardness (≥ 500 HV).
Limitations: High cost and complex maintenance of plating solution.
